Alright, I finally get to announce the project's final name! Yey I'm so happy ^^ Much thanks to ~Taro13 for helping me come up with it. Without his suggestion, I probably wouldn't have ever figured out what to call it.

History:
In the beginning, I had an idea to create a story about a girl that could change into a dragon ever since I was about 11 years old. It wasn’t until a few years later that actually put some thought into it and scribbled down some ideas in my sketchbook and then left it alone for a long time. But, after seeing that page over and over again every time I opened the book, I eventually decided to start creating a comic about it. The original name for it was 'Silent Wings' and it was only one page long; I never got around to finishing it. Now, 'Silent Wings' has become the name of my dragon art club on deviantART, ~SWDC and its forums, and also as a logo that I had airbrushed onto one of my hoodies.

Then, in my 10th grade English class, we were given an assignment to type up a short story. We had one hour to do it and it had to include as many of the elements of fiction (irony, foreshadowing, etc.) in it as we could. After serious and extreme plot modification I decided to write my story about 'Silent Wings'. It became a science fiction and just barely resembled the original story. With the creation of my new masterpiece, the title didn't quite fit anymore so I had it modified to 'Silent Struggle'. This was a pretty good name that worked with the story, but I didn't fall in love with it since I didn’t have time to think up a better one. But, it was so well done that the teacher kept a copy as an example. (Yey!)

It wasn’t until the second time around when I had a short story assignment for my 11th grade class that I worked on it some more. This time I put a lot of thought into the scientific process and plot and also changed the point of view so you could understand more of the story.

A few months earlier, my graphic design/animation teacher, Mrs. Davis, had given me the opportunity to create and enter an animation into the Scholastic Art Awards for 2006. I didn't seriously consider starting it until this year. At first I was going to create an animation about The Elementals, an rpg that my friends and I created, and feature all of our characters. But after beginning to type up the script I realized that this was much too difficult to handle in the amount of time given and my current experience, not to mention some copyright issues regarding some of our characters. So I had to come up with another idea. I chose to bring back to life my 'Silent Struggle' story.

Just recently I have redesigned some characters, began typing up my script, and after getting input from all of you, I have come up with the final name. Transfusion: Metamorphosis.

'Transfusion' is going to be the name of the animation/comic/story series. 'Metamorphosis' is the sub-title for the name of part one/volume one/book one. Now I am continuing on typing the script and as soon as I do that, I can start recording audio for all the characters.

Very interesting! I like the way you make it "scientifical" , instead of the stereo-typical medieval RPG type story. Definately keep us posted on this.

In fact, is there any way I could get involved? I know I can't write the script for you, but if you ever need animation work done or other such things, I'd be glad to lend a hand. I have a bit of experience.

To be honest, I've had a similar idea, but never cultivated it to the level you have and written a script. That's why I'm so interested! :boogie:

Thank you! Yes, I wanted a different approach to this story and it looks like it's turing out quite well so far. I'm just shaping ideas at this point in preparation for the final story and animation.

You'd like to help? That would be wonderful, it's always nice to have a little help. You said you've had some experience, what would that be with exactly?
